Hey Kiddies, i know the most of you consider the world of consoles to be taboo but i thought i shed some light on the new xbox 360 slim that will be replacing the iconic white version thats now been put out of manufacture
![]() physical features: stock 360: weight: 7.7 pounds colour: Black or white(known as "chill") button: mechanical USB: 2 front ports, 1 rear PSU: 150-203 watts KINECT: XXXXX WI-FI: purchasable adapter security: XXXXX 360 slim weight: 6.3 pounds colour: black on black button: touch sensitive USB: 2 front 3 rear PSU: 135 watt KINECT: 1 port WI-FI: inbuilt security: Kensington lock (i'm still lost as to where this feature is :S) Overall I'm quite impressed with what Microsoft has done, the concole is certainly much more prettier then it predecessor and is much prettier to run, its whisper quiet ( unlike it's older brother ) and thanks to a new chipset runs much smoother and make the whole user interface much more enjoyable. the touch buttons and new design add to its ps3 challenging sleekness, glossy finish is a finger print magnet and a bottle of window cleaner is essential for those of you who like your gaming gear all shiny. where it really shines though is the introduction of the kinect port ( formerly known as NATAL) to compete in the motion capture, although i'm still convinced this technology is about as much of a gimmick as they come but i can see some real potential for this technology and am quite excited but at the end of the day everyone is going to go back to play COD on the trusty controller but eh, if i have it might as well end up using it. The USB ports on the back are poorly designed and really have no other use other then taking up space in my opinion seeing how few people actually use any of the USB peripherals. WI-FI is a great addition and has let me ditch my 16 foot LAN cable and shows the new slim 360 as a good option for home theater system thanks to its movie on demand feature. Microsoft have put some thought into this new design and it should pay off, with it selling for roughly same price as the previous its a great buy for those who don't yet own and xbox , but for those that do i'm not so sure its worth forking out the money. However if you want to you certainly won't regret it.

Personal feelings with Natal are that it is pretty weak since they have dumbed it down to max of 2 players at a time and can not be used while sitting, but if they focus on the voice activated part, some games can benifit from it. Which would also be able to transfer over to PC gaming. But we will see.
The upgraded Xbox i just was it should have originally been and would have been if they didnt rush the system out a year early to beat Sony and Nintendo. Although the HDD is still proprietary, the other upgrades are not bad. |

If you barely move the console at all, it will DESTROY whatever disc is inside of it.
