Thinking of threads from the old site I decided to start this one over again here.

I'll start with the PC I made.

Here are the controls and 22" Samsung 226cw:
http://suicidesoldiersclan.com/picture.php?albumid=4&pictureid=6

Here are some pics of the case and hardware:
http://suicidesoldiersclan.com/picture.php?albumid=4&pictureid=8 http://suicidesoldiersclan.com/picture.php?albumid=4&pictureid=9

The newer heatsink and 9800 GX2 GPU:
http://suicidesoldiersclan.com/picture.php?albumid=4&pictureid=10
Oh I added another Scythe fan in the middle of the heat sink also.

Specs for my system are on my Xfire profile ;).

Here is a picture of my console set-up.

Sony 52" Bravia XBR4, Sony Blu-Ray matching HD Audio 5.1 home theater surround system, 60Gig PS3, Xbox 360, PSP slim.

But it has some bloody big noisey fan on it, can anyone recommend something that will do the job but a bit quieter?

WOW Eraser. That is one kick ass gaming rig!! Those are the EXACT parts I would pick if I was building a new system(minus that cooler and monitor). That's the case I wanted to use for my next build since mine is getting close to needing an upgrade.

Some expensive components there lol you spent a grand just on video. I wonder if the new Nvidia GPU's would be better for a new system though.. I think only if you're running a lot of DX-10.

Alright guys if you ever wondered what a Columbian Drug Lord's gaming rig would look like, refer to Eraser's post. The question is, are you running Vista or XP ont hat bad boy? You want a smoother DX9 or a possible glitch or 2 for the DX10? (as if i already didnt know)
Nice blender

Thanks man, i thought about the GTX 280 in SLI and based on the reviews I decided to go with the 9800's for price and performance balance. I can always buy the GTX 280's if I wanted with EVGA's step-up program but I highly doubt I will. As for the cooler I was going to go water cooling, but
I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the last time I did that. (water reservoir cracked and ruined my MB and PS :()

PS. The case ROCKS for cable management. If you are planning on getting the same MB, please check out the cooler you are going to get, there have been a lot of reports of coolers not fitting due to the nvidia cooling solution on the board. That's why I went with the Square Lion, my other two choices were known to have placement problems.

how do you like the g9?

I really like it, the weights option is cool because I like a heavy mouse, and being able to switch between 3 grips is pretty cool too. Very Responsive, perfect for twitch FPS gaming. The one thing I do not like about it is the fact that it is not wireless. Aside from that I would give it two thumbs up. :thumbsup2:

I don't remember the exact model but I think it cost over $3000.

IBM introduced their Personal System 2 computer line on April 2, 1987 ranging in price from $2595 to $10,895. The initial offering consisted of four models: the PS/2 Model 8530 (http://www.can.ibm.com/helpware/8530.html) with a 8 MHz 8086, the Models 8550 (http://www.can.ibm.com/helpware/8550.html) and 8560 (http://www.can.ibm.com/helpware/8560.html) with 10 MHz 80286 processors, and the Model 8580 (http://www.can.ibm.com/helpware/8580.html) with a 20 MHz 80386. At the same time the OS/2 operating system came out, but most buyers continued to use DOS. The PS/2 line came with a mouse, and IBM hoped to regain market share by implementing a proprietary bus architecture called Micro Channel or MCA. The problem was the rest of the PC industry stuck with the existing ISA bus, so IBM never succeeded in getting back the large market share they had in the early years of the PC.

Here was the article that Maximum PC did on the computer when they shipped it to him, he is SSGT Thomas Breen in the article and his pic in front on the right page. The only thing different was the power supply was upgraded to 1350 watt and they sent a Version 2 board to replace the original.
