The only problem I have with vent and Vista, is that if Vent is the program I have open on top of the other programs, I can't tallk without Vista beeping at me for like 5 minutes. Other than that, it works fine.

Vista Sucks. I only use XP now. I had too many problems with Vista. If I could tell every one please use XP its better!!!!

Sorry But Vista Sucks LAGG City and I run a high End system. I love XP a hell of a lot more and no one can tell me Vista is better. I still have two hard drives raided and 2 more for XP XP runs faster and I have tested it. COD4 playes on Vista but lags some times same with other games I have played.


People should stay with XP for now I think

I just dont use Vista it sucks besides I have 4 drives raided together. 2 for Vista for testing 64bit and XP on my Rapter drives and NO problems.

My COD4 runs excellent under vista. 1900x1200 full settings.

I had some performance problems when i first built my system but turned out to be voltage/timing problem with my ram. Once that was fixed, runs smooth as butter.

LOL I read a little here and I just wanted to point out.. Vista sucks, yes indeed. But why do I use it? Because XP also sucks, ME, 2000, 98, 95, 3.1, 3.11.. they all suck :D

i agree with you guys on that XP and Vista both have there moments cuz i own two computers. Which run each program. It truely depends what you are useing the computer for and how much ram they got.

Personally i would downgrade my vista laptop cuz it only has 100 gigs. However if i were to do that i would loose all the wifi software that came with it. That means for me no websurfi8ng and no online gameing.

Unless theres another free and easy way to do it but i keep all of my current software thats on it. anyone know of a way i could do this.

Yea You have to run as Admin On Vista for your most of your games and programs to work right. I had problems with BF2 and WaW and Vent somethings in game ..... You Vista Sux Ass LOL

I'm one of the many crossing my fingers for Windows 7. I'm about ready to leave my faithful XP for a DX-10 OS and I have no interest in getting Visa.

I think you all are a bunch of crybabies. Vista works just fine. You just don't like change. I bet you all said the same thing about XP when it came out too. Get off your high horses and deal with it.

yeah the only thing i don't like about vista is that u have run things under admin. i just ran xfire "run as admin" in the properties so when i join a game wouldn't have any problems with talking in vent :). otherwise vista is a pretty good OS. i also love the Vista Aero btw. :P

I'm waiting for Mozilla to make a windows clone... They made a better browser why not an operating system? Microsoft's business plan is so full of flaws they don't even care about making a good operating system. They want to see what garbage people will buy, then they break it and sell the pieces at an elevated price. They need to give up the "flavors" of windows and just make one solid version. Well two, you need a server version.

I am an XP user and I only made the switch out of pure necessity. I also had to turn off a lot of "features", change the entire look, and other "hacks" just to stand looking at it, basically turn XP back into 2000. As for DX10 there are hacked versions out for XP, I downloaded one once but it didn't unlock the DX10 features in clear sky so I'm not sure it did anything. Although DXdiag said I had 10... Go figure
