Firefox better for ||§§|| than IE.

I've noticed a couple of small issues when using Internet Explorer with this site. Nothing big so far but Firefox seems to work A LOT better with everything.

I've been using Firefox for some time and I think it's a better browser.

I use Fire and IE but like Fire for some things and IE for others so its a tie for me.

9/10 sites i enter with IE are not working for me.. and firefox is 1293812893 times faster.. so.. firefox ftw.. check some fun stuff about IE and Firefox :P

Firefox has a bunch of extensions and addons that IE will never have making it a very versatile browser

I had a problem were IE would freeze my computer every time I used it. Even if you uninstall it, windows just hides the file and programs like steam will still use it. So I used security options to "deny all" now nothing now even my computer can access the file making it as truly uninstalled as possible. There is absolutely no reason to have IE on a computer. Windows won't completely uninstall it but there is no penalty or downside to having it not be there.

I use the latest version of IE for testing purposes and I can't log into our clan site with it.

This thread's name still makes me giggle... Today my boss asked me to test our webapplication in IE8 RC1..

I begged him no and said it's no point because IE sucks and it doesn't matter which number they put in it's name...

He said I still had to and what happened when I tried logging in? IE crashed... and again.. and again.. etc.

After a bit of debugging I learned that the file mshtml.dll made it crash and it's a known problem with IE8. :giggle:

I told my boss to tell our customers not to use IE8 or 7 or 6 for that matter...

We removed IE8 from all the rigs at work, emailed our customers and told them that we don't recommend IE8. :lol:
I'm sure it's that damn mshtml.dll which caused your friend the crashes.

RC1=Release Candidate 1... I would not even consider to release something that crashes... Certainly not frequently, there is just no excuse. :doh:
