Just thought i should let you guys know about some of the rules and such of the Urban Zone league we will be playing in.
EVERY player will be required to keep demos of our matches, UrT will automatically record for you, just DONT DELETE ANY OF THEM!!!!
Both captains have to send screenshots of the final score of each map to league@urban-zone.org with the match date and clans involved clearly stated in the subject (example: May 20, xY vs. Yz). Admins may and will request randomly selected player demos from each match. Those must be provided within 7 days of the request via email. If a player fails to provide a demo requested for screening and archiving purposes, that player will be suspended from three subsequent league matches. If a player submits the requsted demo after the deadline of seven days and the demo is found to be clear, he will be suspended for 1 match only.
<||SS||Nightmare>: Zezura will record all the matches anyway
<SheiTaN>: every players will do
<||SS||Nightmare>: so everyone has to have a demo?
<SheiTaN>: yes
<||SS||Nightmare>: damn...
<SheiTaN>: hum
<SheiTaN>: just looks like normal
<[SF]Sawa>: the Uz server config will make it that demo starts recording once the match start i think
<[SF]Sawa>: your players should just keep the demo files till the end of the season :)
<Furax>: matchmode does it itself by default
<Furax>: no need to set it up
<[SF]Sawa>: there you go :)
<SheiTaN>: yep
<||SS||Nightmare>: so if the server config auto records, how would i find it
<[SF]Sawa>: in your q3ut4/demo folder
<SheiTaN>: just put autorecord match on ur config, which is set by default anyway
This is a EU league, so there may be some problems with scheduling matches, we will play most if not all our matches on weekends due to this, there is a 6+ hour time difference between us and our opponents.
our standings in the league will be determined by the amount of points we have collected form our matches
Points
Win = 5 points
Draw = 3 points
Lose = 1 point
No show = 0 points
Match Info
A match consists of 4 x 10 minute rounds, two in each map. Teams swap colours after the first round, which is done automatically by the leagueconfig. Winner of a map is determined by the accumulated amount of caps from both of the rounds in that map, a map can end in a draw. Then you will go by the result of the other map, if one team wins the other map then they will have won the entire match. If both teams win one map, it's a draw. Each team is allowed two timeouts per match. Timeout called because of a technical problem concerning server or config is not counted as a timeout for the team if it proves to be valid. All players must join their teams during warm ups or timeouts.
No spectators are allowed on the server during the match unless they are staff of the league.
and last but not least, sportsmanship, this is very important here guys:
Clans are expected to conduct themselves with sportsmanship in game. Excessive use of foul language and spamming in game will not be tolerated and may be cause for disciplinary action. If a punishable offense against sportsmanship occurs, it will be punished by a warning for the team involved. Verbal abuse, personal attacks and any other kind of excessively impolite behavior toward any member of the refereeing staff will be punished by a warning for the team whose member engages in this kind of behavior. The seriousness of the offense will be voted upon by the refereeing staff.
If an admin/referee or their clans are involved in a challenge or investigated issue, the admin/referee will not be involved in the decision-making concerning that issue.
Problems not tackled by these rules will be dealt with by the admin staff by general vote or by vote between the head admins.
