Looks like the Death Knight is getting Revamped

"The World of Warcraft website has been updated with the Public Test Realm notes for patch 3.0.8, with massive changes on the way for the hordes of recently-created Death Knights.

While there are indeed a great deal of tweaks coming for the game's first hero class, the changes certainly don't represent the massive nerf that players in general chat seem to think is in order. If anything the changes mainly serve to balance out the various Death Knight builds, rather than tone down power across the board. They've traded off some of the bonus damage from Rune Strike in favor of more threat, reduced the duration of a few abilities, but for the most part the changes are positive, including the best change of all - Death Knights will be able to be created on any server, not just the one your level 55+ character resides on.

Other big changes in the patch include the removal of racial restrictions from mounts (Tauren chocobo time!) and the fact that any aggro-inducing abilities will now tap monsters, meaning no more dotting a mob only to have it yanked away before the first tick. "

Personally, I have not played it yet but a BUNCH of guys here love it to death. I am not a fan of monthly subscriptions. I did out the math and if you but the game, both expansion packs (Burning crusades, Wrath of the Lich King) and a 60 day subscription card along with the 14 days free you get the full game and 74 days of playing for $110. To me that is nt worth it, but like I said some people here swear by it. Now you can download a demo at their site and play it for 2 weeks for free. anything you do and save will be lost and youll have to start over if you want to buy it, but it will give you a good idea if you like it or not.

Now apparently the SS has some big guild of like 40 people on WoW, but only a few are SS members. HOPEFULLY the SS guys that live and breath SS will start to utilize this site more along with its resources and get more of the people on WoW to join the SS and help us grow as well.

Currently the servers are as follows:
North America - Garona (Horde)
Europe - Sporeggar (Alliance)

So anyone making a new account, planning on switiching there exsisting accounts, or playing for the first time should use those servers depending on where they live so they can hook up with the rest of the SS for large raids, assistance with leveling and quests, or just to screw around while playing.

Also there are almost ALWAYS guys playing WoW on our ventrilo. They are really nice guys so you can always just hop on and ask them what they think as well (warning: some can be pretty biased as well, but they can tell you what they like about the game)
