CoD4 Screw up

Well after fighting with it all night I've given up on trying to fix CoD4, I can't even install patches without it saying the path to the patch or whatever can't be found so I guess I'm done for awhile.

Hmm that's odd. Did you try backing up your profile then reinstalling the game followed by the patch update?
