changing windows folders?

well i had a hdd 250gb made it two partitions. 200gb and 50gb. i had windows on the 200gb and now i added windows on 50gb.(made this coz i didnt wanted to format pc and i have prob and cant get into windows. if you know anything about ACPI mode you really have to send me a PM :p) if i would rename the windows folder from 200gb and copy the folder from 50gb would that work? I guess it wouldn't (that sounds like 5yo child trying to make it work lol anyway)
Any way helping is accepted :p

EDIT: for no waste posting much people would say "why to change the windows folder etc. I want to do this coz i have 19282913 programs at the main windows :P

well i suggest to clean out your folder with programs you don't use on a daily bases :thumbsup2:

to tell you the truth i checked the program files from old windows setup and i realised that there had been about 40-50 folders. only 1-2 folders was the only i needed lol. but i still have much stuff that i cant backup

I did something similar the other day. But I had to reinstall everything except for some programs that will work anyway. I don't think there is a way of moving stuff from one installation to another.. sorry man.

I were you I'd just move everything I could keep into a safe location and blast the rest to oblivion?

from what i gather you want join the 200 gb and the 50 back in to one drive ? and still keep you regsterd copy of windows working. thats not hard i run Partion magic .do note changeing the format if you say dvd or cd is F: and it changes to D: windows see it ans a Big chage and may ask you to re register your copy, the nice thing about partion magic it looks at all the grograms that had say the D: E: ect lestrs and resets to you main drive leting you run the programs .partion magic is now made from a company i don't like http://www.symantec.com/index.jsp but for the most part it's the same .Jest back up all the files to a dvd or some typ of drive .and if all els fails "Format " in some ways it's the best no bit rot
