Banned from CoD4 Server?

This thread is for anyone that has been banned from our Call of Duty 4 server.

If you are interested in getting a second chance or you have questions about why you may have been banned, you do not need to join the forum you may instead use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the forum.

Please state your situation in a mature manner and DO NOT use any swear words.

After reviewing your request with the administrators we will notify you on whether you will be unbanned or not.


Joining the forum and starting a rant about being banned will only result in being banned from the forum as well.

I was apparently banned tonight on the CoD4 server.

As far as I know, i ran around a corner, head shotted some SS person that was sniping. Less than a minute later the consol said "good bye lung cancer" and I was banned.

Just out of curiosity, why was I banned? Is it customary to give warning just in case we don't realize we're doing something?

I wasn't there last night so I can't say for sure why. It is at the current admins leisure to give a warning. Warnings are usually given if someone is uses glitches or being disrespectful over the console text those two offenses usually only result in kicking the first time. Though if someone is consistently jumping around corners or when they come into contact with an enemy player they are usually directly banned. A lot of times there are warnings given and people miss reading them as they are concentrating on the game. You'll have to wait for someone from last night to explain your reason but if you typically jump a lot there is nothing we can do.

I kicked someone for bunny hopping but I know it was not ou, I rememebr your name, and if i am kicking someone I don't tell them 5 seconds b4 i do.

If you got banned, it’s due to your actions. Rules are posted when you join the server. We Spec all the time to watch players that might break the rules. If you got banned it’s because you didn’t read the rules or you did and didn’t care then broke them. SO READ THE RULES FROM THE START ON ANY SERVER. Might help you play in that server longer. That’s all I have to say about that!

I've read those rules many times and, as far as I know, wasn't breaking any of them. If I knew why I was banned then I wouldn't be seeking clarification on your forums.

I'm interested in getting a second chance, but obviously a second chance is only useful if I understand what caused the ban in the first place.

We are working on finding out which admin kicked you. I found the person Hand banned and it wasn't you so please be patient and if we do not find a good reason for your ban or if no one can remember doing it then we will remove the ban. It may have been a wrong number typed into the ban text. It does accidentally happen from now and then as your trying to read the users number as the info scrolls up the rcon screen.

Hey, um....yeah, I got banned yesterday, I sent pm's through contact us and such, just giving you a heads up in case you missed it. And yes i've read the rules and I've played on your server for weeks now, just got banned last night for "hacking"

The other day I was banned from the SS server. I'm not sure why though. Before I was kicked I saw another SS member tell all recruits to join the TS server or something. After that, I was kicked. I just assumed you all were holding try outs and just getting everyone out of the server. Today is the first time I tried re-joining the server, and it told me I was perm banned. Is there anyway I can find out why I was banned and get back in the server? I usually play there nearly everyday and for hours at a time. I really enjoy playing there and would like to continue to do so.

i think u were hoping as my knowledge cause i think i was playing with ya, was it thursday? cause if u were hoping then theres ur reason, hoping can piss H and Hand off easily, thats why the rule is no hoping.

I can't remember if it was Thursday or not... sounds about right though. I don't usually do any hopping, but it does happen sometimes on instinct. I'll keep it more under control if you guys will let me come back in and play!!

Dr.H said he would "see" if you would be able to play on the CoD4 Server again. You must of been pretty bad on the server because rarely anyone is ban on it. So I don't know, it would be (most likely) up to Sven since he's the one who ban you. Well just keep in touch and keep trying. :)

Yeah I meant to say HC.
I saw samh hopping on the server. I told you to watch the hopping. After witnessing this twice more I issued a ban. You told me on xfire that you were jumping over a wall, when there was clearly no walls in the vicinity.
