Banned from WoW by Blizzard!

Well I was just playing on my new level 20 Orc Rogue and I get booted from the server right when I'm making up some potions..

I try to log back in and it tell me my password is wrong??
I do the password reset as I'm freaking out thinking my account has been hacked...
When I try to log in with my new password I get a message saying that my account has been banned and I would be getting an email..

Well the email says this:
An investigation of the World of Warcraft account SSDRH has produced evidence that the computer(s) used to play the account are infected by a virus, Trojan or keylogger.

To protect your privacy and security, we have temporarily disabled the account for a 24 hour period. During this time, we highly recommend that you follow the below steps to protect yourself and the account from unauthorized third party access.
What the hell!!

Well it can be one of two things I can think of.
First I never visited any of those gold seller sites so the only possible site it could have been was one that I looked up for leveling my lockpicking last night.. But I have Kaspersky2010 running so I would have hope that would work.

The only second thing I can think of is that I logged into my Wife's account last night the same time I was on mine so I could use her 80 to help me with a group quest. I didn't know that you had to bind account to be able to do that? I wonder if that would have set off their keylogger trigger and suspended my account??

Well I sent them an email but it says it could be several days until they respond. In 24hrs I will either see it was the other account that got me banned or I find all my money and gear gone or something is on my system and I get banned a second time.. :cry:

that sucks dude, do you have an authenticator? you can get them free on your iphone or droid now.

We downloaded the authenticator for my wife's iPhone but I have an LG that isn't on the list so I ordered the hand held one from the Blizzard store for like $6.

I'm still waiting to find out what happened. I'm starting to doubt it was any sort of virus or keylogger since I did a full scan with Kaspersky, MBam and Spybot S&D and none of them found anything at all on my system..

That sucks, hope they get it worked out soon.

It looks like all your gear is still there and I just checked the stuff in the guild bank and everything looks ok.

I can see them getting worried if you logged into YOUR account simultaneously from two separate computers, but since you were logged into two different accounts... :hmm:

Maybe they do have some kind of red flag that comes up with multiple accounts from the same computer?

Huh, my mom got Kaspersky 2010 for her new laptop, all it did was half way through the installation tell me that it needed to restart to complete the installation, then it would just repeat that indefinitely...

Anyway good luck getting it all straitened out, I'm sure it's some sort of miss-understanding

Nah, I have had up to 3 accounts going at the same time, I even had multiple instances of wow going on the same computer. never got flagged

Well I'm down to maybe I got reported for something by someone or it was some sort of mix up.. Lol we should start a pot on why Dr.H was banned. $5 says it was something random I said in the trade chat. :P

I use two accounts also and have not had a problem,that sucks. I also use Kapersky but have not used 2010 yet.

I guess I'll find out when I get home from work this afternoon and log into WoW since they haven't replied to my email as of yet.

I'm leaning towards the email from them being a standard email for any 24hr suspensions no matter if there was a keylogger or virus found or not. I can't see how Kaspersky could miss something like that when Kaspersky and NOD32 are probably the two top antivirus programs out there.

My game is back up and running and I got a response from Blizzard

Ok this I knew but they didn't tell me what caused the problem in the first place so I replied asking them to kindly let me know so I can make sure my system is clean..

oh btw, I rerolled an Orc Warrior, we need a dedicated tank for the guild , let's see how long it takes me to get to 80. I am thinking a month and a half.
